I have have always had a passion for art, and coming to Spain has provided a wonderful opportunity to paint.
I have been teaching classes for mature students since 2004, initially two mornings a week and now three , and have discovered real fulfillment in helping others to develop their skills. It is very satisfying to see people improve beyond their expectations, and some of my students have been producing wonderful work.

Lessons for all abilities
I have been running lessons for adults in Ciudad Quesada and PALS Social Club, La Siesta for over 5 years.
The classes are attended by people of all ages and experience, ranging from absolute beginners through to very experienced.
So if you have a yearning to paint why not come along?
The lessons are informal and relaxed, with tuition and projects
tailored to your own specific level of skills and personal objectives,
be they watercolour, oils, portrait or landscapes.

Commissions
There is no gift more personal than a commissioned portrait.
If you want it to be a complete surprise I can do a portrait from good quality photos, avoiding the necessity for the subject to attend sittings, although the latter is preferrable.
If you think you might like an original painting of a loved one or pet, please contact me for a chat, without any commitment whatsoever. I will discuss with you what you are hoping for, maybe give you some alternative ideas, and of course quote you a price.

Come to my exhibition at
La Herradura Restaurant
Opened 9th August 2011
I am pleased to announce that La Herradura Restaurant, Los Montesinos, is hosting an exhibition of 20 of my paintings. It opened 9th August, and will run until further notice.
You can view the paintings at any time during the day from 11.00am, not just when the restaurant is open for diners.
The restaurant´s covered courtyard is a wonderful location to view paintings. There is plenty of parking at the back, and it is easy to find. The entrance is immediately after the REPSOL Petrol Station on the left just before the roundabout, as you approach the main street of Los Montesinos from the CV90 direction.
All paintings on view are for sale.
While you are there, why not try the restaurant. The food and entertainment are truly excellent,
and very reasonably priced.
