Suzanne Stokes

Welcome to my official website.
I have been writing books, short stories and drama over a number of years, beginning in Singapore in 1978 when the Singapore Stage Club produced my version of Sleeping Beauty. I am delighted that Libros International have decided to publish my latest book Stage Struck.

SADS, the Sipton Amateur Dramatic Society, welcomes Rose, a new, if rather reluctant recruit. Traumatised by a tragedy in her past, she hopes that the make-believe world of pantomime will help her overcome her nightmares.
But whose adultery threatens to blow the pantomime apart? The leafy Home Counties village becomes a tinderbox of emotions, where relationships blossom offstage, only to wilt beneath the harsh glare of betrayal, suspicion and unbridled passion.
This amdram tale has it all - poignancy, romance, humour and lots of drama.
'Anyone who goes to watch, or
is involved in amateur theatre,
will recognise the characters in
Stage Struck. I was hooked
from page 1.'
Lynne Simmonds
Stage Struck will be available at all good book shops or online from Amazon, Waterstones or W.H.Smith
My next book, which is now complete, is called ...Would Like to Meet..., and is about the intertwined lives of the managers of the Meet Your Match dating agency and some of it's clients. For more information, and an excerpt, please click on the link below.
